Terms of Use
CleanCode Enterprise designs and develops websites, web applications, and custom software for businesses, organisations, and individuals. These Terms explain how you may use our website and how they relate to our client services.
1. Website use and project agreements
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Reading the website, contacting us, or requesting a quotation does not by itself create a paid project agreement.
Paid work is governed by the proposal, quotation, statement of work, or contract accepted by you and CleanCode Enterprise. That agreement sets the scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, timeline, acceptance process, and any hosting or support arrangements. If it conflicts with these website Terms on a project matter, the project agreement takes priority.
2. Responsible use and accounts
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with another user's account, upload malware, send spam, copy private data, or disrupt our systems. You must have permission to submit any content or personal data you provide.
Provide accurate account details, keep your credentials secure, and tell us if you suspect misuse. We may restrict accounts or content where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations.
3. Client responsibilities and changes
For a client project, you are responsible for supplying the agreed content, lawful access to your systems, required permissions, and timely feedback. You should review deliverables and confirm that business information and requirements are accurate.
Changes outside an agreed scope, delays in supplying materials, or third-party dependencies may affect delivery dates and costs. We will agree material changes with you in writing before proceeding.
4. Fees, cancellations, and refunds
Fees, deposits, taxes, renewal charges, and payment milestones are those in your accepted project agreement or invoice. Domain registration, hosting, subscriptions, and third-party licences are included only where expressly stated.
Cancellation and refund requests are assessed under your project agreement and applicable law, taking account of work completed and approved third-party costs. These Terms do not impose a blanket no-refund policy or remove rights provided by law.
5. Ownership and licensing
The website's branding, text, designs, and code belong to CleanCode Enterprise or their respective owners. You may view and use the website for its intended purposes. Other copying, resale, or commercial reuse requires permission unless the law allows it.
You retain ownership of materials you provide and permit us to use them as needed to deliver your requested service. Ownership or licensing of custom deliverables, source code, reusable components, and designs is set out in the project agreement. Do not assume that a quotation transfers all source code or intellectual property. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
6. Hosting, maintenance, and third-party services
Ongoing maintenance, backups, security updates, and support are provided only to the extent agreed for your project or subscription. Websites and software may rely on hosting providers, payment processors, email or SMS services, and other suppliers whose terms and availability also apply.
External links are provided for convenience. Review the relevant provider's terms and privacy notice before using their services.
7. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in providing the website, but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free of errors. Confirm current service details with us before relying on them for a project decision.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CleanCode Enterprise is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Liability for paid work is governed by your project agreement and applicable law. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy, updates, and disputes
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Choosing cookie settings does not mean agreeing to a paid project or consenting to marketing.
We may update these Terms and will display the revised date here. Project agreements are changed through their agreed change process. Ghanaian law governs these website Terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Please contact us first to discuss a concern; unresolved disputes may be taken to a court with appropriate jurisdiction.
