Cookie Policy
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by the CleanCode Enterprise website. Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage also save information on your device.
1. Essential cookies and storage
Essential storage supports features you request and helps keep the website secure. It remains active when you choose “Essential only”.
- Session cookie: links requests to your session, protects forms, and supports account activity. It is a browser-session cookie; server-side session access is also subject to inactivity limits.
- Authentication cookie (app_user_auth_token_v1): supports authenticated access after sign-in. Its lifetime follows the sign-in token's configured expiry, and it is cleared or invalidated on logout or expiry.
- Sign-in tab identifier: session storage distinguishes your browser tab for secure authentication. It lasts for that tab's session.
- Cookie choice (cleancode_cookie_consent_v1): local storage remembers your optional-storage choice for up to 180 days in this browser. We ask again when that choice expires or our consent version changes.
If your browser prevents saving the choice, it applies only to the current page and you may see the notice again on your next visit.
2. Optional public content cache
With your permission, local storage named bannerCarouselPayload can save public banners, business information, and public display settings on your device. It is used only with an active choice allowing optional storage. Cached content is used only while fresh under the website's cache settings; this is separate from the 180-day cookie-choice period.
The cache can remain on your device until replaced or removed. Choosing “Essential only” or switching the cache off removes it. It is also removed on a subsequent visit if your consent has expired. We do not currently use this consent feature to enable advertising or analytics trackers.
3. Making and changing your choice
The small cookie bar at the bottom left asks for your choice and closes once you make one. “Got it” allows optional public content storage; “Reject” turns it off. Select the cookie icon or “Cookies” to open individual settings. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer. Optional storage is off before you make a choice.
Refusing optional storage will not stop you from viewing the site, making an enquiry, or using account features. Cookie choices are specific to the browser and device you use. They do not constitute acceptance of a project contract or permission to receive marketing.
4. Browser controls and external services
You may also delete or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice, so the notice may appear again.
If you follow an external link or use a third-party service, its own cookie and privacy policies apply. Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal data and externally delivered website assets.
5. Policy changes
We will update this policy and the consent controls if our storage practices change. Any new optional tracking must be disclosed and controlled before it is enabled.
